Love this whole series. I thought I was on an emotional roller coaster on this one. I could see, and feel everything that Chloe and Derrick were going through. Without giving it away, I thought I was going to die, when the accident happened. I freaked out. I couldn't go to sleep until I finished this book and I had to start the next one to find out how it all turned out. So glad I already had it purchased so I didn't have to wait for it to come out. I love all of T.H. Snyder's books and want to read everything she writes!!❤

Another Hit for T.H. Snyder!, May 26, 2014
5.0 out of 5 Stars!!!!!
This book has everything that you I have come to expect from T.H. Snyder. This is all about Emma's story. The struggle she goes through once her parents die made my heart break for her. While dealing with that grief she also has to try to do what is best for her brother and try to save her marriage. It starts out with enough drama that the reader is sucked right into the story. When Emma finds out that she has been lied to she decides to make some big changes in her life and sets out on a journey to find herself. I enjoyed taking this ride with her. I laughed and cried right along with the characters. I also wanted to slap them a few times.
I fell in love with Pete when he finally enters the story. He is such a sweetheart!
I would recommend this book to all my friends and family and any other avid reader!
Real life issues., May 28, 2014

4.0 out of 5 stars!!!!
The good: This novel made me tear up. The issues faced: depression, anxiety, panic attacks, were all beautifully handled. They were not quickly swept under the rug once she divulged her secret pain. It took a realistic approach to traumatizing events for a teenager. Were there moments that I wanted to bash my Kindle when Zar didn't ask for help? Of course. But it was true to a scared child, and that was what she was. In that, I felt that Snyder did an excellent job of not making this a romance novel, but an awareness novel.
The bad: There were a few editing mistakes - commas missed, capitalization errors, etc. I really wish this would have gone through one more round of editing to make it that much more polished for such a fine piece of work. But the only thing I really felt was missed was that medication wasn't mentioned. If Zar was to the point of passing out and having seizures, then she more than likely would have been prescribed medication for her anxiety.
Favorite character: Loudon - he was her light.
Favorite scene: The entire Epilogue. It was sweet.
Favorite quote: "One day, I want to look happy like they do but I fear the changes I would need to make to fit in with the rest of the world."
Would I recommend this? Yes, to anyone over the age of fourteen-years-old.
